Jessica was a no show on 3/12 so we rescheduled for 3/27.
Jessica’s class went to the Olathe City Hall for a fieldtrip on Thursday and participated in a mock city council meeting around building a new skate park.
Jessica sent an audio of her small group completing a spelling inventory so she could pinpoint what skills to target. She sent me the results so I could see each student’s individual results. After seeing the results, Jessica is going to use a sound, spelling map consistently with this small group in hopes to establish a routine of hearing the sounds, then tapping (filling in the dots) and then writing.
Jessica needs to complete her last application assignment then she is finished with the first half of the course. She mentioned that is it a little difficult completing some of the application assignments because she has no other teacher at her school enrolled in the course.
Our next meeting is scheduled on 4/9 at 7:45 am
