Jovelyn Pestano

Jovelyn tried to have a video for us to view today but was the video only captured 4 minutes of her instruction. Jovelyn is struggling to get through her Sonday lessons in the time she has with her students. This is due in part to student behavior and appathy. We are hoping to be able to see where tweaks can be made to her literacy instruction in order to get through lessons efficiently and effectively.

We came up with a viewing guide for Jovelyn to use as she watches her videos that should help us to determine where tweaks need to be make. Jovelyn is committed to recording at least one lesson and maybe more.

She is going to collect some baseline data so that we can compare before and after she has made some changes.

She will document the number of lessons completed in the past two weeks.

She will share progress monitoring data for those same two weeks.

We will continue collecting that same data as she moves through this video coaching cycle.

We also created a shared resources page that I can add resources to for Jovelyn. She is particularly intersted in Classroom Managment tips that will help her to be able to successfully implement her literacy instruction.
