- dry material, not very interesting; she is trying to get excited with the class but outside factors are not helping
- the professors are GREAT and extremely knowledgeable
- Refresher and some new knowledge
- “My mom would love this” – her mom was a first grade teacher and loved teaching reading

Letters and letter sounds – 10-15 minutes; letter review, carpet sort, student product – product of current letter – she will also email me the video for us to discuss
- Courtney will develop a goal based on this group and we will discuss next time
Lesson plan process – embedded from college; new teachers not coming with the knowledge of how to develop a lesson plan
