How is D2L? (she was struggling with figuring out the system last time)
- Frustrating at times, Emma is unsure if she joins late if she is still counted as attending – she was late Monday due to an IEP that ran long; she is going to email Dr. Carlson
Course update:
- Discussed the quadrant assignment, because she has access to all students, we filtered it to a 3rd grade group using Fastbridge data instead of MAP data
- AHAs: chat discussions are extremely helpful, as a SPED teacher the conversations around IEPs with other districts have been meaningful
Tell me how the ELA block is set up?
Phonics, Shared Reading – core, read-aloud, small groups/intervention, writing and grammar (this is the Master schedule)
Walk to Learn (reading intervention time) – grouped in grade level by high, medium and low
Student Focused Goal: Emma will share with me the quadrant before we meet next week so week can discuss a goal based on the beginning of the year data
