Sheri will not have access to students over the summer so she will want to pursue an implementation of instruction goal. She had already put a lot of thought into what would make a good goal for this course. Sheri teaches an ELA class with her SPED students on her caseload but is given no guidance or curriculum to follow for this class. She would like to develop a plan of instruction for teaching her students how to write a coherent sentence and eventually a five sentence paragraph. She is still thinking about how to structure this instruction and add in other areas such as vocabulary, morphology, and grammar into this instruction. This will be a big goal when we figure it out but she feels like it would be very helpful for her as she plans for next school year’s instruction. Sheri is looking forward to this course and hopes to find information that will help her in her instruction for the fall. We had a good discussion about resources that she might use to help her think through her goal for this course.
