Coachee Note 1:
Nicole teaches 5th grade at North View Elementary in the Olathe district. This is her 8th year of teaching and 3rd in 5th grade. North View is a Title 1 school.
Her ELA block consists of 15 minutes of phonics in the morning and 1 hour block for reading and writing in the afternoon. Her district is currently using 95% Group for Phonics and Wit and Wisdom. She currently has a student teacher.
When discussing a possible student centered goal, she suggested digging into movement from fluency to comprehension within her MTSS groups.
