Will will select lessons from Project Syntax to focus on sentence work with the second graders. He will select a starting lesson on the basic Who and the Do for subject/ predicate identification.
Target Goal:
The students will be able to write complete sentences in expanded form (with adjectives and adverbs) independently.

Coach Log Note 1:
Sully and Ariah enjoyed the work with the syntax lessons and have advanced 2 more lessons. They have worked on how to expand simple sentences and have learned types of sentences. He also taught them how to use the FANBOYS connecting words. That acronym was new for him also! They have worked together for 6 sessions total.
