Notes

Coach Log Note 1:

Peter has been asked to assist with leading students through KAP, and so he has had to suspend lessons. He is trying to maintain meeting with his kindergarten group, but sometimes he only sees them 2-3 times a week.

He is really happy with using the weekly structure that we created for lessons. He sees some students progressing, but other students struggling because of confidence. We discussed looking closely at the decodable readers that he uses (Jumpstart readers) and maybe exploring other decodables that might be simpler. I shared the decodables from Starfall, and he was going to go look in the school bookroom to see what else might be available.

The next time we meet, he will update me about the decodable readers and report how each student in the group is doing reading decodables.
