On student grade level passages, the student read 92 wcpm on the Fastbridge reading assessment which is high risk (11th percentile).
Midpoint:
By October 30, educator will intervene with one student10 minutes daily using targeted instruction including repeated reading and phrase text reading with standard grade level passages in order to improve reading of wcpm score on the Fastbridge assessment to 104 wcpm with at least 98% accuracy.
Target Goal:
By December 11, educator will intervene with one student10 minutes daily using targeted instruction including repeated reading and phrase text reading with standard grade level passages in order to improve reading of wcpm score on the Fastbridge assessment to 115 wcpm with at least 98% accuracy.
Notes
Jessica and I talked about how she was doing in class and is on the Fluency module. She said after she watched the video on fluency, she redid her lesson with new strategies and ideas. She also talked alot about the dyslexia simulation and how much she got out of it and thought every teacher should experience it.
We discussed her fluency goal for her student she is working with. He is slow but also not completely accurate. She is going to get a video prior to next meeting along with a lesson plan. I asked her to keep data on what kind of words he is missing when he reads. Also, make sure she does a comprehension check after. Her first data check is due after this week.
