Notes
Sheryl continues to work on course assignments and is finalizing her lesson plans for concept mastery and dialogic reading to support instruction in her social studies classes. Sheryl shared that she would like for me to review her concept mastery lesson plan for the term democracy prior to submission. We detailed the components that should be evidenced n the lesson plan to ensure sequential co-construction with her students. We agreed that I would give her feedback and that we would meet on May 5 to finalize her plan. She also asked that I provide feedback on her reading fluency lesson plan once it is drafted.
Sheryl is highly conscientious and meticulous in her planning for assignments. She cares greatly about succeeding in the class and values this opportunity to gain literacy knowledge to enhance her teaching abilities.
