I asked her to look at her data and decided some goals she might have for her students. She came with the following identified.

Here are the goals Rachel has:

By December 18th, 82% (19/23) of students will…

• achieve grade-level benchmarks on the fluency quick checks, demonstrating at least 90% oral reading accuracy,
• 98-112 words per minute,
• 2 out of 3 correct comprehension questions, and a fluency score of 3 or 4,

as measured by the Benchmark Advance Fluency Quick Checks

These all are all goals that Rachel would have based on her data. I asked her to consider which one he would like to work on first as I worry that focusing on all might be overwhelming to do all at once.
