Coach Log Note 1:
Moving around the classroom to incorporate more anchor charts- vowel valley and consonant charts.
Handwriting- starting HWT to start teaching explicit handwriting instruction. Will start at the beginning of next year with this.
Last night was the last class. Talked about writing and expanding a sentence, writing a paragraph with 6 sentences and got some fun activities for writing. Learned to dive in deep with waht a good sentece is and they need to master that first.
UFLI Visual Drill hard when multiple sounds per slide. This is especially true with bilingual speakers when they may have another sound. Next year when starting routines, will have studenst say most explicit sound first and other sounds after that.
