Data notebook for next year shared with me. Focus on doing most assessments whole group instead of a lot individual. Only use individual assessments when whole group data shows that they needed it.

Discussed the LETRS Spelling Screener and how to use it. Discussed looking at the sounds and patterns they know even if they don’t always spell the word correctly.

Journal writing- see if they can transfer to their writing. Handwriting gets sloppy becaue they want to be fast, combined with little handwriting instruction. She is seeing the importance of explicit handwriting instruction.
