1. Complete a deep assessment of student data to analyze grade level and subgroup performances.
Midpoint:
3. Provide professional development and support to ensure teachers’ competencies in use of evidence-based practices.
Target Goal:
By June 2027, I will effectively design and implement a professional development process that optimizes teachers’ instructional skills; specific strategies will be determined by completing and utilizing school-wide data on literacy development across grades and student subgroups and through collaborative decision-making with teachers. Students with show a minimum of 10% growth in literacy development as measured through district and school-based assessments.
Notes
Ryan has completed all course requirements other than one professional discussion for Modules 9/10 and the course posttest. We formalized his long-term instructional goal and discussed specific actions to ensure his decisions are data-driven and built collaboratively with his staff.
