Coach Log Note 1:

Katy reports that 3 of her students have met the goal of decoding CVC words according to the level 4 of the PSI phonics inventory.The 3 students are now moving onto CCVC or CVCC words. Katy watched a UFLI video from the module in the course and discussed it with colleagues for her applicatio assignment. She took away how important it was to do more I DO, WE DO with struggling students to make progress in retaining skills. She experimented with this technique with her struggling student and it seeemed to work. She will video her work with him so we can talk about it next time.
