Notes

Coach Log Note 1:

During a personal check-in, I asked how her kids were and she said, “Great!” and then jumped right into one of our purposes today by saying, “This is Day 4 of my new job.”  She reported feeling confident and capable about the job in general.  She said she was “picking up on everything.”  I asked her to give an example of something of which she was most proud, and she said, “I recognize that this is public education involving small children and families and my job is in multiple locations, but everyone has been receptive to my questions and ideas and acting as if they needed them!”  She shared her philosophy that, “Everything is figure-out-able.”

We then talked about her coursework.  She said that she has passed the assessments with mostly 100% and she “sees a lot of connecting points with my study of language acquisition.”  She said she finished that work at the age of 28, so it’s been good to be reminded of some of that learning.  She said that is her joy!  She has done most of the work for Module 2 and just has to put the Application Tasks into their form for turning in.  When she said that one Application Task had been turned in already, I asked if she had received any feedback, stating that I always used the first turned-in assignment as a guide for how to be more effective in subsequent assignments.  She got into the platform and said that was helpful, because she could see everything turned in and remaining to be turned in.

We will meet again on 7/28/26 at 5:30 to celebrate and reflect!
