Select key strategies from morphology and other modules for universal application across grades and content areas.

Midpoint:
Develop a long-term professional development plan to provide systematic instruction and support of literacy strategies to be used across content areas and grade levels.
Target Goal:
By June 2027, I will develop resources and provide professional development to all teachers in key literacy strategies to support reading comprehension and word recognition. Student achievement scores will increase by 10% across grades and subgroups through teachers’ proficient application of evidence-based instructional methods as measured through observation and professional discussions.
Notes
Darwyn and I reviewed his course progress. He has not yet submitted any application assignments. We reviewed the course site and how to gain access to the assignment templates. Darwyn will complete module 1, 2, 5 and 12 knowledge tests this week and will teach a lesson for moduels11/12. He will focus heavily on the phonics module as that is the area where he has the least prior knowledge. We will review that module again during our next meeting.
