The teacher is beginning her study of Modules 7-12.

Target Goal:
By July 30, the teacher will develop a plan for utilizing new learning from Course II, as evidenced by a written plan with bullet points for each component.
Notes
During a personal check-in, Brianna said she had been, “good, but busy!” She did Summer Academy, which just finished up. She worked with fourth graders (different than second!) and knew most of the kids. Both her Literacy Foundations course and her last ESL course started last week. She said this semester’s Foundations group is smaller, with four or five students.
For her course study, she said she has done the vocabulary and morphology modules already.
I stated that our primary purpose today was to explore what she might use as a goal for this summer semester and told her that, in the past, I’ve had summer coachees set a student goal (like they did in the spring), but I’ve also had coachees set a goal around selecting new learning/strategies from each module that they want to utilize/implement in the fall when they begin instruction again.
That’s the route she wants to take, so she will be prepared to discuss vocabulary and morphology when we meet again on 7/2/26 at 3:00 pm.
