We discussed data collection and assessments related to the coursework.
Emma would like to focus on improving vocabulary with a focus on context clues and morphology strategies. Currently, she has 12/21 students not mastering the formative checks related to vocabulary.
Goal: By October 13th, 20 out 21 students will demonstrate proficiency at Level 3 or 4 on the vocabulary assessment checks by accurately explaining and applying vocabulary routines. She will monitor student progress through formative checks and provide additional instruction and practice for students who have not yet reached proficiency.
Next time we will look at morphology routines and current practices. I have added a vocabulary routine and she will be looking over to discuss next time.
