UFLI- visual drill concerns. Pacing need to be upbeat during the lesson. Ideas shared.
Per our last discussion about phonemic awareness, purchased Heggerty online and wants to begin using it. Suggested to watch online videos of people using Heggerty with hand motions and using a perky pace.
Coursework- Assessing Listening comprehension vs. Reading Comprehension and we discussed the difference.
Still shared concerns about her schools Data Notebook and how it doesn’t seem authentic with what she is learning in hher course.
Shared that she had no access to Fastbridge that she knew of. She did not administer the Fastbridge test or CBMs. She was not given results. Instead they had interventionists and Title and they administered the test and just pulled the high risk students. We discussed talking to her learning coach at her school about how she could look at her class results and possibly give her own CBMs in the future to help her know the errors her students were making and to help guide her instruction.
