Discussed progress monitoring every 2 weeks for students with every 9 weeks overall testing to monitor progress. ESGI- tested in class. Studetns also using a spelling list ona phonics skill for assessment. CKLA sight word list is the list for sight words.
Discussions about learning about the Strands and Quandrants in class. This was very influential for her and very impactful in how she saw students.
Discussion on Oral Language Test for on-line work for course. Also discussed finishing the knowledge test and that she didn’t do very well on the pretest in phonologrical awareness and phonemic awareness.
For Classroom projects; 5 minutes video explicit instruction, data and putting it into quaddrants and how to break them into the different strands.
