Coach Log Note 1:

Katie and I met after missing our session last week. We talked about the progress of the 4 first grade Special Ed students. The last time we met I gave her some alternate blending routines to help students with poor working memories put together the sounds in CVC words. She said that was really helping with one student especially. She is using UFLI to consistently combine phonemic awareness and phonic pattern practice with spelling and simple writing with the same pattern. She will send a video this week and take a new progress monitoring before we meet next week.
