Notes
Today was a productive day. During class, the teachers practiced placing their students in quadrants, and she found that to be a great activity. She found that her data from Really Great Reading was a good match for the quadrant activity. The placement of students was a pretty good match.
Now, she is really thinking about the materials available to her, activities, and matching her instruction to the students.
We discussed and recorded her current reality and made notes on the goal page. Then we jumped to discussing the product.
Kylie would like to create some sort of product that can be used with students who are alike. If a student has language needs, these are the types of materials and activities she should use. If they have decoding needs, etc.
This may be two goals. The first is to create a product that summarizes things for her, and then a second goal could be to use it with her small reading groups.
