Mary shared her data and we created a goal that would guide our discussion.
Goal: By Oct. 14th, 79% (11/14 of my students will master the silent e skill on the FastBridge AutoReading/QPA by embedding phonics routines and high levels of opportunities to respond into phonics lessons.
We reviewed some routines she have heard of such as spelling ladders and chains. We also discussed elkonin boxes and sound-symbol best practices.
Next time, Mary will decide on strategies for her phonics instruction.
