Coursework- Struggling with the quadrant assignment. We discussed the quadrants.
We discussed her goal of cvc words. Students can segment but can’t always. Discussed different strategies to practice cvc. Especially students that struggle with the nonsense words.
Discussed where PA was in Benchmark and how to help bolster this in the classroom.
Talked about helping students with passages and sight words. Discussed mapping sight words for understanding and to highlight or underline words to help them quickly identify them in a passage.
