Notes

Coach Log Note 1:

During a personal check-in, Emily said that Theo and Josie are staying healthy and doing well.  Theo has started baseball and Josie willo do Tiny Twos dance in the summer.  Her husband owns a pool company, so he can’t get away to travel in the summer.  They take advantage of doing things here at home with the kids.

Emily said her coursework was going well.  She has a preference for writing lesson plans for the Application Tasks, and I affirmed that as a way to make the information “stick.”

I stated that we would be talking about her progress toward her student and teacher goals.

We were able to mark the 3/4 point toward the goal.  (Small glitch in the system:  when I look at her goal, I can see all of the goal progress phases, but when it populates into the log, only the midpoint is visible.)

She has now taught all vowels but u.  Her plan is to teach that next week, and then review all the following week.  All three girls demonstrated mastery with i and e (most recently taught).

Since our last call, Emily emailed me with the strategies she has chosen from the Vocabulary module:  Choose & Chat from fcrr.org, and Network of Words from the module.  (Once again, I can only see the Midpoint, not 1/4 and 3/4.)  She will be prepared to talk about use use of them on our next call on 5/4/26 at 1:50 pm.
